Oh god poor Subaru. I'm really excited to see grannyS and Seishiro interaction though xD That should be... interesting. And wow this chapter is going to be really long :O

Let's say chapter 12 will be an interesting time for Subaru.

About the length: I don't know yet. It won't be a short one - too much content has to go into it for that - but there's no reason to assume it's going to be oversized. The word count includes also all the scattered fragments - including redundant or bloated things that get cut down when merged. The last merger of 6 fragments with the rest had me lose 400 words after all. That's almost a tenth of the then-current wordcount! :)

Sure is but when you're not used at such language it doesn't just come natural to use it, no matter the situation you're in.
The sentence seems something said in the heat of the moment and therefore out of an impulse. If you've been brought up in a polite environment and lived among polite people and had interact only rarely with that type of language, that sentence is 'unfamiliar' and is difficult you would pick it up spontaneously.
You'll go for something more familiar or need a moment to search in your memory and come up with it.
Of course not knowing the background and who's saying it I'm just thorwing in random speculations.
Plus not being English that sentence might sound more vulgar to my ears than it really is...

Oh, I second all the points above and then some.
The sentence is out of context and given in an early stage of the chapter. It might survive, it might not. Right now it is part of scene, coming from a person, where it works, though I might decide against it later on. Who knows?
PMS things are no reason to get agitated about, luckily. :)

Yep. The sentence gave me a weird feeling because the only characters mentioned in the PMS were Subaru, Seishiro and grandmother so I keep associating to one of them.
Despite Seishiro being very polite in manga he might go for it because he interacts often with not so polite people.
Subaru would find it harder because despite living among not so polite people Subaru's not one who interacts a lot.
But grandmother... It made me think she had a hidden double personality... yet among the three she was the best candidate to say such a thing... so reading it left me with a speechless expression...
But, of course it might not be her...
