Extremely successful writing session today. Business As Usual reached a (pre-editing) continuous word count of 4702 words today (up from yesterday's meagre total of 2654 words), and despite today's snippets not all of them are smut.
In short: the waking up scene is done, as is the first confrontation with the Mori, and the appearance of Ryukyuan authorities, which set up the next two scenes of cat!shisa and The Pine[tm], both of which already exist in detailed scribbles and "only" need proper editing to adapt to the current reincarnation of the story!
Anyways, here are a few -disconnected- snippets of today's session:
Had he really used his gift frivolously in public? He wasn't sure, but he'd definitely had his hand down Seishiro's pants when the elevator up to their suite opened to admit an elderly couple.

Seishiro stubbed the cigarette in the ashtray on the balcony table and came back inside. "Good morning. I'm sorry if I woke you." In the dimmer light inside, a pale red glow became visible, slightly crooked kanji alight with Subaru's gift circled his wrist.
Subaru groaned. He hadn't dreamed that misdeed, either.
Seishiro sat down on the bed and raised his wrist. "It would be nice if you reduced the glow. Breakfast will arrive soon, and I don't like people asking where I accessorize."

"You know this is twisted, don't you?" Kamui had told him, after accusing him that he wanted to live with Seishiro. Subaru gave himself a self-deprecating smile in the mirror. Twisted was probably an understatement.
