akk: (Subaru - No!)
Today's writing session yielded 2733 words, bringing the total word count to 7435 on 16 A4 pages of continuous text, covering the events of the first two days of Golden Week, 2000, including the first action of the local Mori section and a diplomatically fraud meeting with the infamous Pine[tm].

The previous scenes survived the finetuning sessions with no changes to the plot, but more concise storytelling (otherwise, the word count would have been close to 10000 by now). However, it's been six years (*gasp*) since I wrote the Decagram (or any SeixSub for that matter) and both characters are in unfamiliar settings, hence I'm constantly fretting that I mess things up beyond recognition.

Anyways, tomorrow, writing commences with the first visit to the Mori offices. A certain COO and his assistant will regret having disturbed that vacation. Once that bit is in, statistics will make sense again, because that's the end of the notes. Stay tuned!

Unrelated excerpts of today's session:

"Sakurazuka Seishiro-san?"
He looked over the edge of the newspaper. "Who wants to know that?"
"I'm Shang Namie. Miyagi-san sends—"
Seishiro snapped the paper back into place. "I'm on vacation."
"Nice to meet you, On-san," she retorted dryly. "Still, Miyagi—"

Insects buzzed in the heavy blossoms above them. "Isn't your tree jealous?" Subaru asked with a glance up at the bright purple flowers of the bougainvillea overhead.
"My tree is in Tokyo."
"And I might tattle."
"I think I'm going to have tea with your grandmother—"
"Ask her for Shiro's address, I didn't call her yet."

The Sakura grew in a public park. The Pine was not nearly as accommodating.
