thing to be grateful for: Samsung laptop's userfriendliness (I don't know how I'd managed with the 101 disks that came with my colleague's IBM.)
thing to be ungrateful for: slacking software vendors & unexisting documentation
revelation of the month: once properly tuned for speed and plain-ized, Vista is a fast, sound, and stable environment (and I was so prepared to suffer from it)
