our beloved "I want to get T-DSL on my phoneline"-daily soap gets a new episode!
September 19
It's over 2 weeks since the TOS's promise of sorting the rubbish out. So I checked the service center online to see what was going on and whether I could expect to finally get the line and the stuff. What I found was an entry informing me that I have DSL 1000 (the slow connection) on my phoneline since September 16.
Mind you that I a) wasn't told that, b) I didn't get the router to actually use it and c) I had ordered T-DSL 2000 (the faster connection)!!!
So: back on the phone, calling TOSH.
I was connected with friendly TOSH#5 who told me since I already have DSL now, it would be a question to put to the T-Online DSL Service Team (TODST). She tried to connect me and the phone went beep-beep-beep (line cut)!
I call TOSH again, demand the direct number of the TODST from TOSH#6 and an attempt of connection. TOSH#6 is too stupid too connect, but the number works.
TODST#1 listens attentively, checks their service center herself, and connects me with their superior department (TOS) - I didn't let her out off the line before not getting the direct number first.
Surprise, surprise, the redirecting works!
TOS#2 checks their data, listens half-ear to me (an ear he is going to lose if that doesn't work out now!) and proceeds to take the DSL 1000 off my account and orders the DSL 2000, router, and flatrate classic for me. SNORT
Ends the call with "please be patient". which almost made me yell in my university office.
I am not patient.
I was patient on July 27 and August 5, because shit can happen.
I was annoyed on August 17, and angry on August 19.
I was pissed off on August 23 & 24,
and slightly accommodated on August 29 (but noch much).
By now, I am
"goddammned-fucking-pissed-off-to-Mars-colony-Zeta-28/B"
and seriously contemplating if having a phone is actually worth the hassle!
