As of today chapter 11, which turned out to be a monster of more than 9200 words, is with my editor. I wish her (and myself) luck; we're going to need it.

Totally unrelated thought of the day, triggered by radio news and fouilletons filled with the upcoming book release:

...you do know that you're telling that to somebody writing about "a carnivorous cherry tree having amorous issues", do you? ;)

Seriously, it's not the books per se that repel me, but the "events" staged around them. It's ridiculous to the point of obnoxiousness what happens around a release in the media and downtown.
