atypical skillset required for the position:
required - working next to a connected phone, answering said phone when it rings, handling office papers without exorcising them first, talking with non-Sumeragi practitioners on a daily basis, basic computer skills very much appreciated, noticing spells on papers - beneficial but not essential at this point.
...and I expect the elders not to be happy about the one being chosen for the position.
Real life is currently busy with a press release, a revision, programming the analysis of my data, and the upcoming lab work in November, hence there's not enough time to sit down and connect all the snippets properly to the main text, but the solution with writing the scenes popping up in OneNote and then merging them with the main file in Word once I get there, works well. The only feature I miss is that OneNote doesn't give word counts (at least, I didn't find it), but that's certainly not essential for writing scenes "on the go". So yes, there's quite some progress, it's just not easily quantifiable.
