scene completed? yes, finally, though it might face reduction during editing (sadly, given that it is probably as close as I will ever get to exploring a cave myself), and quite a bit of finetuning later on to fit properly into the flow of the story.
next scene to be written: receiving Amerus contact data; this one will be short, half a page at most - and then there's the next chapter section (May 3) in which things get decidedly less vacational.
