Wattpad is a social writing site aimed at connection authors with readers and providing an environment to discover new works and the flaws in your own work. It is less about fanfic and stresses that the author keeps full rights to hir works. I like that Wattpad provides not only a website, but also a usable mobile app for reading on the go.

Totally understandable... and it seems like a really big site. Pretty sure I even saw an app for it in the iTunes App Store once.

They have an Android app as well, which is how I stumbled about them. Other than most fic and book blogging sites, they make "reading to go" really easy, something I've come to like on my daily commutes.
Plus, they don't ask for your author rights, which - with original fiction - is a really important point in my books. I like sharing and derivative works and such, but I might end up publishing some of my stuff on paper at some time (unlikely, but who knows?) and then having to bargain for my own works would totally suck!
