About the chapter: BAU-00 covers the so-called Golden Week in 2000 (April 29 - May 7) and will likely be somewhat larger than the average story chapter. Given that the events (and the location) for this introductory part of Business As Usual are closely connected (and unique), breaking it into several chapters doesn't make sense. Therefore, writing will take some time, but hopefully the result will be worth the wait.
structure: by day. Saturday - Sunday - Monday - Tuesday... (see above), but not all days will hold major events (and therefore text).
currently written: Saturday. Sunday is at 80%, Monday at 20%, the rest is structured with occasional important-scene-bits already written.
current chapter word count: 3068 (+192) [it's more than it seems, since it involves the deletion of author notes, the polishing of the Sunday scenes, and a more concise telling of events - leading to more plot in less words]
Sunday scenes: First Waking - Assassin on Vacation - At the Pool - Hotel shisa - {Who's that?} - Railings [complete, incomplete, {missing}]
character trying to figure out what to do on a holiday: Subaru
character determined not to work on a holiday: Seishiro
character determined to work on a holiday if somebody disturbs said holiday: also Seishiro
character wondering if shisa shed hairs (and if he should ask his grandmother about it): Subaru again
quote of the day: "In which case I might decide to be more than merely difficult."

Gods, I love it how these two lines tell us everything we need to know about those two. So them. Subaru wouldn't know what to do in such extreme and unusual situation as 'vacation'. Such a stress *pets Subaru*
I cannon unsee Seishirou in a colorful shirt and with a cocktail.
You have no diea how giddy and impatient I am about BAU.
