related side note: this, among other things, makes me considering seriously to move all writing activity, including FM-PMS and chapter postings, away from LJ for good and just announce new chapters (posted here) in the respective communities. Right now, I'm inclined to at least finish Family Matters in the posts here, but its sequel will likely go to IJ (and probably JF) only.

Jeff Martin's song will come up later in the fic. It's called Psychopomp.
The guy is good and his song is even better in the fic context. But I guess it's better if you read about it first, then listen to it.

I don't even know if I find the time to read it over Easter (*eyes warily the stack of paper that threatens to bury her*), so likely there will be only a huge... silence.
