Editing Crystal Structures 2
Editing Crystal Structures 2 today was a kind of frustrating task, consisting mostly of shuffling content and thinking about how to tell that content more efficiently without so much tech-talk (about fictitious crystal technology - the "Waldo horizon" *wince*) and doing a first rough cut out of the no longer needed emo-bits (because the investigation on Andor solved that issue between Zach and Goose quite nicely and a lot more elegantly)!
All this resulting in
remaining scenes to be written in order:

Editing Crystal Structures 2 today was a kind of frustrating task, consisting mostly of shuffling content and thinking about how to tell that content more efficiently without so much tech-talk (about fictitious crystal technology - the "Waldo horizon" *wince*) and doing a first rough cut out of the no longer needed emo-bits (because the investigation on Andor solved that issue between Zach and Goose quite nicely and a lot more elegantly)!
All this resulting in
- CS 2 being down to 42 pages now.
- the freshly written part about the investigation on Andor being done (save for the final meeting with Denise (a.k.a O'Mega) already known from "Rape" and a x-over scene with the Niko-thread about Negata having his kittens about procreating Supertroopers.
- the Niko thread losing 2 scenes by way of condensing them into the other scenes by way of memory / mention, thus giving the existing scenes more plot-relevant substance and weight similar to the Andor bits
remaining scenes to be written in order:
- Niko starting unpacking the crates & observing Negata losing his shit in the corridor
- Niko meditating & finding her mind drifting towards work (and the obscene amount of permits needed to operate a starstone driven device at BETA) instead of dealing with her personal issues
- Rewrite of the S5 (-Niko)'s meeting with Denise
- Niko & crystal engineer getting the reader to work
- adaptation of Ranger-1 returning to Earth (minor work)
