Galaxy Ranger Edits - Mission Report

Mission report on my Galaxy Rangers project:

1. published stories up to "The Geist of the Goose" are uploaded to the AO3.
   [All the big epics are still missing and the works already sum up to 123,039 words. Really, I didn't know I've written that much. The two epics in X/1999 come barely above 200,000 words. It looks as if Galaxy Rangers exceeds that.]


2. the editing of Crystal Structures part 1 is complete.
   [13,248 words on 24 pages]


3. I tried to contact Caro about whether or not she is okay with being credited for frontispieces and feedback. It's been over ten years since this was written, so I'd prefer to ask whether or not she still wants her name associated with it.
   [So far, I was out of luck, though.]


4. Somebody volunteered to go over A Different Kind of Betrayal part 1-4. Editing it will be much easier, if he catches the most awkward grammarisms first.
   [Crosses fingers. Betrayal has a history of letting editor-volunteers disappear.]


5. the editing of Crystal Structures part 2 begins now.
   [Starting condition: 24,013 words on 40 pages of 11 pt Calibri font, including frontispiece, disclaimer, and an extra page with the corresponding Ashcroft/Mermin Solid State Physics quote].
