LJ now "offers" snapshot popups for non lj links via http://www.snap.com . If you want to know more about the snap, have a look here.
If you want to "opt out" from snap, you'll end up with a tracking cookie (if you don't use the trusted Firefox + Adblock Plus combo, that is).
