Looks as if Subaru and Lady Sumeragi have been having interesting discussions! I really like fanfics that have those two interacting (...sensibly, rather than in the sense of Lady Sumeragi cackling evilly in the finest traditions of fairytale witches). ^^

Not sure if the talk between grannyS and Subaru is that sensible in the end, but she's certainly not a cackling witch. Clamp gave that position to Yuko after all. ;)

And Yuuko fills the witch job role so well. :) There's no need for a substitute.

Written sensibly, I should have said. The relationship between Subaru and Lady Sumeragi is largely untapped by the fandom in general, but the more people who have a go at writing them, the more interesting it seems. There's a lot of potential conflict there. (...And now I'm tempted to at least have a go at writing them, if only to say I tried, but I think my vast pile of works in progress would protest at yet another addition.)

somehow my WIPs in a universe always merge into one large fic cosmos, so I've given up on counting them. I'd always end up with wrong numbers. :)

grannyS isn't a character easy to write; the traditions and manners she follows are rather alien to most of the writers and therefore it's difficult to characterize her right. And the same goes for predicting how she'd react to a given situation.
