current chapter word count: 6943
scenes worked on today: everything before Granny Talk 2
because tightening of content & Sakura, geckos, Kali and cops!
resulting in the first half of the chapter (minus the Tree Talk) being tinkered for good!
also resulting in the content of Granny Talk 2, Daylight Sex, and the Elder Council to be much more straight forward
because those three scenes just didn't take flight until now.
character now with disconcerts & Tree in thoughts: Seishiro
character now with less obvious directions what to do: Subaru
overall properly implanted issues: Kali & cops, Sakura helicopter parent, what the gecko did
quote of the day: "Recently, there are a lot misunderstandings around you."
related side-notes: I seriously wish I had had more time earlier in the process to go through the file like this! Killing quite a few old text parts & adding new ones got rid of loved details, which unfortunately proved entirely useless to the plot as it is, but streamlining the text finally allowed me to see where the characters erred with respect to their priorities, esp.
