Looking forward to reading the upcoming chapter, it looks like it will be very entertaining!

Btw... I was sorting out my X scanlations (yes I own the books as well), and thought of an interview I read where CLAMP (a couple of years ago) said that the Tokyo of today looks very different from 1999. Have you made any adjustments for that in your writing, or have you purposely chosen locations that were also around in 1999? I've always been curious about how you do most of your research.

I try to work with data from 1999 (and now 2000) - like broadband rates, etc. - that are available online. Sometimes it's tricky to verify whether or not a specific building, street or service was available at the time of the fic.
A few locations are fictitious of course -- for example Seishiro's house, the office building of the Mori, the Campus, the Sumeragi estate, and the hotel I'm going to use in chapter 16 -- mostly to accommodate canon or a necessity for the plot, but most of the time I stay with things that exist at the time the plot takes place.
Hence the non-GUI-system on the Clamp Campus library computers in the teenager!Seishiro chapters of 36° or the time Subaru needs to reach Kyoto by Shinkansen (Today's service is about 30 minutes faster than the Hikari that was the fastest in 1991).

But I write fiction not description, so if I'm unable to find information - or the plot absolutely requires something - I have no qualms to make things up. :)
