No new word count today, because... tax return forms are gobbling up this weekend.
However, since my mind - as usual - did not obey staying focused on (boring) stuff, the result is - of course! - several short disconnected snippets for the upcoming scenes. Here's the briefest example of one:

"Don't you have instant purification?" Seishiro asked annoyed, brushing the offending paper wand out of his face.
"The added water would be a problem," Subaru said. "People usually object to being soaked through in government offices."
"yes, I can vouch for that." Seishiro retorted dryly, glaring at Tomoaki. "But thirty minutes added to every meeting is downright unfeasible."
"Impossible, actually." Subaru sighed.
