Very successful - if unplanned and killing my dinner - Monday evening writing session, correcting some - but not all - of the details I didn't like about yesterday's results.
current chapter word count: 15410
scene worked on: giving ch'i
scene completed? I don't dare saying yes, but it's moving closer to what I need for the fic dynamic without going for repetitions. (Yes, I insist that even my hot scenes serve a purpose plot- and characterwise!), but there are still details to come and lose ends to be tied, and all of that better be done with less words than currently needed for it!
character daring more than before: Subaru
character finally getting a chance to show off the differences in his art: also Subaru
character getting a lot better at improvising rituals: Subaru again
character in for a surprise: Seishiro
item not used as intended: sunscreen

"We are a lot of things," Subaru concurred, indicating him to sit on the edge of the bed again, "impartial is not one of them."
"Un-impartial is one way to put it," Seishiro quipped, sitting down.
Instead of answering, Subaru dipped his fingers into the sunscreen and drew the first character on Seishiro's forehead.
