After quite a long hiatus, finally progress. It seems as if Subaru is finally up to contemplate what he learned about Hokuto's death (more or less) and meet the Iyjuins. Still, it's slow writing. For those who still bother to linger around here:

Here's a small tidbit of today's writing (instead of "quotes of the day"):

"Sumeragi-san?" Takamura asked. "Are you decent?"

No, he wasn't decent. He was mentally talking with his sister about his life with her murderer while he was supposed to spiritually prepare the memorial service for Kotori-chan, who'd actually been killed by her brother. He was anything but decent.

Takamura knocked again. "I'm sorry to disturb your preparations, but here's somebody you need to see."

So, the other decent. Subaru shook his head about himself. Corrupted. He was definitely corrupted. "Yes, Takamura-san. Please do come in."

Love the tidbit. Subaru and has a canonical penchant for angst and youre really good at working it into your story in a way that moves your plot along :) anyways, I'm very excited to see where he'll end up with the hokuto business in terms of his mentality.

In the beginning, I really hated writing him because his mindset was so alien to me. However, by now I'm glad to have Subaru as a pov-character, because for him it is natural to analyze emotional entanglements to the core, thus giving a valid way to explore/explain that angle along with Seishiro's clinical observations. :-)

I'm just very happy to see progress happening, it always makes me excited, and from the tidbits you've been offering, I'm actually really looking forward to the new edition!

... finding a way to make use of Subaru's tendencies... you really do have much more in common with Seishiro xD No doubt this is a part of why your Seishiro povs are so awesome!! lol

I want to see this sorted out and written myself. I found it hard to stomach, how far the story had strayed from my intentions in the last two chapters, written under duress stress.
