^ Detail of Stirling's city wall where it merges with the rock of castle hill
^ View from the old bridge of Stirling over the river Forth (wide river bit)
^ ...if you wondered why the bridge over the Forth was that important in history (note the little dancing eddies like holes into the depth - they are *not* fixed in place!)
^ View across the Forth where it's narrow (the rampant cow is on the other side!)
^ The last remaining tower of Cambuskenneth Abbey (the rest was recycled for houses of the aristocracy during the reformation). Note the most left stone face: Apparently, Caspar, the friendly ghost (or Tweety) has a clergy past! ;)
^ You probably have to be a grain pollen allergic to see the drama in this picture...
