major issue resolved: avoided the Darth Vader moment at all costs

1. Seishiro froze. The small shisa had loped over the table and curled up around his left wrist, broad paws playing idly with the hem of his sleeve. "This is… a recent development," he said at Shiro's questioning look.
   
   
2. "Your shikigami isn't a gecko, is it?" Seishiro inquired.
   Ameru laughed out loud. "It's a grey heron."
   Subaru froze. That couldn't be— He caught himself. Impossible.
