current chapter: 00 - On Vacation
planned structure: On Vacation covers the time from April 29 to (likely) May 7, 2000, and plays primarily in Naha (and a few other spots on or near Okinawa). It is planned to consist of at least three parts, though it might turn out to be four, there's still some flux regarding minor details (such as a demon appearing in downtown Tokyo).
The first part covering April 29 and 30 (Saturday and Sunday) is complete at 4937 words (7 pages).
The second part is currently at 1190 words and starts with their visit to the Okinawan office of Sakura Enterprises (including Seishiro's initial spar with the most recalcitrant of his section leaders), and then is going to include some information about Okinawa Mori personnel and Subaru visiting Shuri castle and/or the ruin of Kamui's former house. Of this, the office visit and the verbal sparring is written.

next scene: sightseeing with shadows, ghosts, and spiritual local authorities. (Note to self: do not slight the Pine!)

"I expected a spell under the tatami in Miyagi's office," Subaru said after the car had cleared the garage.
"Too obvious." Seishiro sorted the car into the heavy traffic. "But I wouldn't vouch for the tea bowls. You can put anything under that kind of patina."
