because a lot of restructuring connected the gecko standoff with the first night and Sei vs. Akiko round 1 with Ameru
because that reduces the number of required pov changes by 2 and brings the amount of granny talk down to a bearable level
amount of chapter considered done: ~75% (discounting tinkering)

On a totally unrelated side-note: I'm actually inclined to forgive the misnamed "remake" of Battle Star Galactica, after all. Because of the hype around it, the powers that be got off their collective butts and *gasp* released the original BSG (the one with Lorne Greene as Cmdr. Adama and Dirk Benedict as Lt. Starbuck) on DVD! I'm so going to spend over 11 hours of this Christmas glued to the TV! :)
