A Light In The Dark

A light in the dark,
to bring back the wanderer,
to bring home the child
who has strayed too far.

A light in the dark,
a flickering candle's shine,
its warmth a reminder
of the sun now afar.

I like it. And poems don't have to rhyme anyway, it's just the most common convention. :)
