DSL = Don't Seek Line (10)
yet another horrendous installment ouf our "I want DSL from T-Online on my phoneline"-daily soap.
September 28
I get home early and - you guessed it - no DSL! So I called TOSH. TOSH #7 tells me that they wouldn't be responsible and gives me the number of the line which is responsible. I abstain from quoting my comments but they included the items: "over 8 weeks", "more than 15 Euros", "customer unsatisfaction", and "lawyer".
Second call turns out to be TODST. TODST #2 calls maintenance and has the line checked. Wow. Great idea that! Turns out: T-Com (TC = "total catastrophy" from now on) has my line listed for "maintenance". What is there to maintain when there isn't anything on the line yet!?
TODST #2 puts an urgent message out to TC and informs me that they - TC - would call me back. That's a good one!
Now...
If I don't have DSL on my phoneline within this month, I will file them a note of customer satisfaction that most likely will turn into a black hole when somebody reads it. Hopefully, the responsible number of persons will be within the event horizon!

though I freely admit, your quote is close to what I wished to tell the TOSH, TODST, TCs and everyone else. Unfortunately, it tends not to be very useful with respect to getting rid of the problem. ;)
