1: I received the author proofs for my paper today at 11:00 am, with a 48 hours deadline. Somehow I assumed that the USA also knows weekends... So much for working on the epilogue A now. *growl*

2: The problem with special snowflakes is that they are never special enough!

That doesn't seem fair, but then again, when is life ever?! Good luck on the paper deadline; very excited about seeing it in print.

It is not in reference to the nice snowflake I received as a gift from you on LJ. I was ranting about the obnoxious species "special snowflake", which you encounter frequently in fandom and with whom you generally disagree violently. :-)
