I'm almost halfway through my first large TB/X-fanfic 36°.
Time to summarize observations regarding fanfic reviews in general and in specific.
#1: the total number of reviews is reciprocal to the length of the story.
basically: if you get 10 reviews for a drabble, be happy to see 1 review for a chapter of a long fic. Somehow it seems a valid rule in every fandom. (Makes me wonder if there will be any review when I finally post GR-CS!) :)
#2: gloomy-Subaru chapters are more likely to get reviews than teeny-Seishiro chapters.
whether that is because gloomy-Subaru is an established character in X while teeny-Seishiro is not, or because gloomy-Subaru is easier to deal with than teeny-Seishiro, or because teeny-Seishiro as an assumption is just plain odd, remains to be seen.
